There is a lot of prestige at stake during the nollekampen (the introduction competition), and it is easy to get caught up in the atmosphere, for better or for worse. There is always a risk that the enthusiasm and motivation will turn into ridicule towards the opponents. This is something that is NOT allowed and will ultimately lead to point deductions. At the same time it is possible to accumulate points by being a little extra kind and enthusiastic towards the other programs! \"Nollefriden\" is a rule that states that faddrar (buddies), N&FA and others involved in the nollning are not allowed to engage in an intimate relationship with a \"nolla\" (a new student) during the entierty of the introduction weeks. During these three weeks all actions must align with nollors best interest. There are many myths associated with the word, but one explanation is that it comes from the word \"Sexa\" which is an old swedish word for party. You can already sign up as a member of The Student Union.
